If I ever have a daughter...I will call her Sonadora
I watched the movie DREAMER the other night with my sister. It stars Dakota Fanning and Kurt Russell who find their relationship as daughter and father rest-ored as they nursed an injured horse from the brink of death to success in a the prestigious Breeders' Club race.
I'm a sucker for such shows :)
The horse's name is Sonador - it means dreamer in Spanish. Today as I went to Sentosa flower show, there was an exhibit that said something about how everything begins with a dream. No matter how ludicrous it may be, a dream is the seed from which reality germinates from.
Now, we can either nurture the seed dream and watch reality unfold before our eyes, or we can kill the dream while it is still in the infancy stage...
I'm sounding like Master Oogway from the movie KUNGFU PANDA. haha.
What's my dream? That I will one day have a place where injured animals and injured souls can find sol-ace.
Where they will have a rest-ored view of themselves instead of looking just at their broken reflections and cutting themselves with the mirror shards.
Look at the picture that I took of myself in the broken mirror of East Coast Park and you will know what I mean. Broken but beautiful. That's what I want to be.
And oh, of course, if I have a daughter or a female pet in that dream place, I will call her Sona-dora :)

Wow I really love this Post Jen. Dreams can come true, everything is possible, as long as we are alive.
And you know the other day something really magic happened to me.. I was feeling sad, and then I prayed for something and it happened, that same day it happened... So thats how I know that everything is possible... :D
